Sree Kerala Varma College is host institution to Indira Gandhi National Open University Study center 1407, one of the biggest study centers of IGNOU in Kerala. The Study Center was started in 1990 and now has twenty eight programs and nearly one thousand and five hundred learners.
The Study Center has a Coordinator and four assistant Coordinators drawn from the academic staff of the college. Support staff help carry out work of the Study Center like admissions, classes and examinations.
